Crazy frozen lemon trick

Lemons are a great source of Vitamin C. We all know how important Vitamin C is and it cannot be stressed enough that for good overall health we need a regular uptake. Always the best source is from natural fruit and vegetables which are easily acquired.
Lemon skin is way higher in Vitamin C than the juice inside. How many times have you opened the fridge and there are parts of dried up lemons even partly mouldy!
Well the simple solution is to put your spare lemon parts and even whole lemons in the freezer. Then all you do is simply grate the frozen lemon skin and juice over any food you choose to use it on. Salads, fish, whatever. This way you are getting the absolute best from all the lemon. The zest is the best!
This really excellent idea can be used for limes as well.
Captain Cook discovered that his sailors, sick with Scurvy, and with rotten bleeding gums and loose teeth, who would even die of the terrible disease caused by lack of Vitamin C, quickly responded to fresh lime juice taken on a daily basis.
This is no old wives tale, and today the need for natural Vitamin C is easily forgotten.
So juice up with frozen Limes and Lemons. Remember the zest is the best!!
